Saiyan (normal)
The correct way to say Saiyan is Saiya-jin SJ for short. a normal Saiyan usually has brown hair and black eyes unless they are half human such as Trunks who has gray hair. They are naturally well built giving them advantages over many species as they tend to be stronger. Saiyans also have a natural tendancy to want to fight. They enjoy being challenged and ar usually fair when it comes to one on one battles.

Super Saiyan
A Super Saiyan has golden hair and green eyes. Generally a Super Saiyan is mor muscular than a normal Saiyan resulting in increased speed strength and agility. To reach Super Saiyan level the Saiyan must first be at maximum strength. He then must experience extreme rage, usually the death of a close friend or loved one. Once both of those are reached the Saiyan will automatically transform into a Super Saiyan. After turning Super Saiyan once it becomes easier after each additional time they transform.
When they transform they are surrounded by there own ki.After each hit the ki will slowly disappear. After they get hit a lot they are forced back to normal Saiyan.

Super Saiyan 2
This level is what Goku called beyond the Super Saiyan. Super Saiyan 2 still have the golden hair and green eyes. Again to reach Super Saiyan 2 they must be at there maximum power and experience extreme rage. Once they accomplish that they will transform automatically. The Super Saiyan 2 has to train strength, speed, and agility equilly and separately. If they train more of one the other two will go down some.

How to tell Super Saiyan 2 from Super Saiyan
If you look at there hair you can easily tell the difference. Super Saiyan 2 has more spikes in their hair and Goku, Gohan, and Goten only have one spike coming down in front of their face. Trunks has hair that goes outwards instead of up. Vegeta's hair is hard to tell because it pretty much stays the same. It's just a little more spiky.
Super Saiyan 3
A Super Saiyan 3 still has the gold hair and green eyes except at this level their hair grows down to their feet. Their body becomes thinner. They do not have eyebrows any longer. They no longer have to have extreme rage to transform. He needs to train effectivly to the very max of Super Saiyan 2. Then he will Transform to Super Saiyan 3.

Super Saiyan 4
A Super Saiyan 4 changes dramatically. Their hair turns glossy black but becomes shagy instead of sticking up. His upper body is almost completly covered with red fur and they get a tail even if it has been permanently removed. Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta ( Vegeta and Goku fused ) has red hair and brown fur instead. In this stage the Saiyen is extremely powerful. Goku turned Super Saiyan 4 from being extremely homesick. Vegeta was hit by a ray gun mad by Bulma. As a Super Saiyan 4 you can transform into the Ougon Oozaro or the golden monkey

Oozaro
This means big monkey. After a Saiyan with a tail has been exposed to moon light a few seconds they will transfor into a fifty foot tall monkey. A Saiyan loses all their skill in this form. All they can do is energy blasts from the mouth and they have a massive amount of strength. They are about ten times stronger in this form than when they were a Saiyan. A stronger version of Oozaro is the Ougon Oozaro. This is the form in which the giant monkey hase gold hair instead of brown.

- Some Saiyans can not controll themselves as an Oozaro.
- Oozaro loses all fighting skills except energy blasts from the mouth.
Fused Saiyan
A fused Saiyan is a combination of two different Saiyans. It combines the two Saiyans power, personallity, appearance, and clothing. and it gives the two a vest called the Fusion Vest. They first have to do a short dance and they both have to do it perfect. Then they have to touch fingers. One time Vegeta made a fist and turned into fat Gogeta. Once they are fused they must stay fused for 30 minutes. While they are fused they can go to any Super Saiyan level they desire as long as both individuals have achieved it. There is also another type of fusion by using the Potara earings. if both individuals but one of the Potara earings on the oppisite ear of the other person. Goku and vegeta didn't stay fused together because Buu absorbed them and they split apart.

Legendary Saiyan
This is the rarest Saiyen there is. The only one there is alive in DBZ is Brolly. They look just like a normal Saiyan when they are in normal form. But when thy transform their body is much bigger, their eyes turn white, and their hair turns gold. A Legendary Saiyan has an extremly high power level when they are born. Such as Brolly again, with a power level 10,000 when he was born. Goku had a power level of 2. When Brolly tranforms to Super Saiyan he is almost as strong as Goku Super Saiyan 3.
