Cyan was Doma's greatest knight before the poisoning of it's river by Kefka - then he became the only knight. Everyone, including his beloved family, perished at the mercy of Kefka's poison - thus he set out for revenge against the Empire. But before he can reach his ultimate level of skill, he must first destroy the anguish, anger and guilt that plagues his heart.
Special Skill: SWORD TECHNIQUE
Cyan will learn eight powerful sword techniques throughout the game, but they take time to prepare during which the enemy can attack. (Hint: If you input the rest of the party's commands before Cyan's, then they can execute their attacks as his Swordtech. power is building.) He'll gain many as his levels increase but the last few will be learned in Cyan's Dream in the W.O.R. After you defeat Wrexsoul and save Cyan's spirit he will finally be able to cope with his pain and his skill level will reach it's peak.
DISPATCH: great damage to one enemy RETORT: if attacked while this is in effect will automatically counter SLASH: drains HP from enemy QUADRA SLAM: attacks random enemy targets four times EMPOWERER: drains HP from enemy STUNNER: stops enemies QUADRA SLICE: twice the damage of Quadra Slam CLEAVE: the final and most powerful technique: cleaves multiple foes in two.
